What is ‘turn-around’ time?

As nearly all of our products are custom and made to order, there is a period of time between when you place your order and when it is ready to ship – this is the turn-around time and needs to be taken into consideration in addition to shipping estimates.

The turn-around time takes into consideration:

• The volume of orders in production ahead of yours
• The production and time involved in creating a typical order
• Any curing or drying that may need to happen before it’s safe to ship

Our turn-around time changes regularly and whilst we endeavour to always accurately t, if time is of the essence, please get in touch with us.

Things that impact the turn-around time

The main impact on turn-around times is simply the volume of orders ahead of yours, a.k.a. the production queue. Typically our busiest time for orders is just after or during a sale, the lead up to Christmas and other seasonal events such as Mothers/Fathers day.

There are also other administrative factors such as supply chain issues that can further impact times. (E.g our acrylic supplier is out of stock of a particular colour, or there is a rush of orders on a particular colour, draining stock levels before we’ve had a chance to resupply.)
